This page has two purposes. First, and most pragmatically, I am creating this digital space to record the materials for a class I am currently taking regarding teaching philosophy in digital spaces. The Hybrid and Online Learning portfolio records the assignments and exercises that are required for that class. Second and perhaps more importantly, I want this page to reflect my process for designing a course so that I may learn from my past-self as I create courses in the future and so that future students, collaborators, employers, and colleagues may understand how I approach my role as an instructor. Of course the principles in my Statement of Teaching Philosophy will be inherently present in all of the following, but the record of this process provides a much richer detail of my commitments. So, please enjoy what you see, contact me with any concerns, and (with my permission) take what you need!
